A hit-and-run driver struck two pedestrians as they walked in Lincoln Park a little past 8 o’clock Friday night.

The two women — ages 24 and 34 — were walking in the street, headed west in the 1800 block of North Clybourn Avenue when a black Acura sedan hit them, then made a U-turn and hit them both again, according to the police, who said the car was later found but that no one had been arrested.

They said the younger woman had a broken hip and other injuries described as life-threatening and that she was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in critical condition. The 34-year-old was taken there in serious condition with head injuries, police said.
