A man was shot in the Hermosa neighborhood on the Northwest Side Saturday morning.

The 23-year-old was outside in the 2100 block of North Tripp about 5:39 a.m. when he was shot in the left arm, back and left armpit, police said.

He was taken to Community First Medical Center in “serious but stable” condition, according to police. He was later transferred to Illinois Masonic Medical Center.
