A man was shot in the South Side Gage Park neighborhood Sunday morning.

The 23-year-old was outside in the 5200 block of South Homan about 5:10 a.m. when he heard shots and realized he’d been hit in the lower leg, according to Chicago Police.

He was driven by friends to Holy Cross Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
