Police are searching for a suspect in a robbery that happened Saturday afternoon in the Rogers Park neighborhood on the North Side.

About 12:35 p.m., two males entered a store in the 1500 block of West Jarvis Avenue battered a clerk and demanded property, according to Chicago Police.

The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The suspect was described as a black male wearing a blue baseball cap and a dark jacket, according to police.
