Police are searching for a 16-year-old boy who was reported missing from the New City neighborhood on the South Side.

Jaylen Richardson went missing Saturday from the 5400 block of South Hermitage, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police.

Richardson is described as a 5-foot-7, 145-pound, black teen with brown eyes, black hair and a medium complexion, police said. He is known to frequent the areas of 57th to 63rd, Cottage Grove, 55th/Ashland, 55th/Bishop, 61st/Western and 67th and Western.

Anyone with information about Richardson’s whereabouts should call Area Central detectives at (312) 745-6110.
