17-year-old boy shot in Grand Crossing

A 17-year-old boy was shot Thursday night in the Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side.

At 9:05 p.m., the boy was walking in the alley in the 7800 block of South Maryland when he heard shots and felt pain. He was shot in the butt and wrist, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
