Man shot in South Lawndale

An 18-year-old man was shot in the leg Sunday evening in the South Lawndale neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

He was standing on a corner about 6:30 p.m. in the 2800 block of South Kedvale when someone walked up and opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition.
