Cops: Man sexually assaulted child in Albany Park store

Chicago Police are searching for a man who sexually assaulted a child in a store in the Albany Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side Monday night.

The man, thought to be between 25 and 40, approached a child in a store in the 3300 block of West Lawrence about 7 p.m. Monday, police said. Once in the store, he grabbed and sexually assaulted the child.

The suspect is thought to be white or Hispanic and was wearing a gray shirt with a white circle on it and gray cargo shorts, police said.
