A man was grazed by a bullet in the West Garfield Park neighborhood early Wednesday.

About 7:55 a.m., the 27-year-old was on the street in the 700 block of North Kilbourn when a person began shooting in his direction, according to Chicago Police.

He suffered a graze wound to his right foot and refused medical attention, police said.

A police source said the man is a documented gang member and he was shot by a “known offender.”

No one was in custody Wednesday evening, police said.
