2 shot in North Austin

A 36-year-old man was killed in a South Shore shooting Saturday afternoon, police said.

Two men were shot in the North Austin neighborhood on the West Side Wednesday evening.

About 5:20 p.m., the men — 25 and 27 — were standing outside in the 1400 block of North Waller when a person approached and began shooting, according to Chicago Police.

Both men suffered gunshot wounds to the left leg and were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where they were listed in good condition, police said.
