38-year-old man shot in East Garfield Park

A 38-year-old man was shot Monday night in the East Garfield Park neighborhood.

He was standing in an alley about 8:35 p.m. in the 3100 block of West Madison when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

The man took himself to Stroger Hospital with a gunshot wound to the left shoulder and right buttocks, police said. His condition was unknown.
