Man shot in Gresham

A man was shot early Monday in the Gresham neighborhood on the South Side.

The 19-year-old was walking at 1:36 a.m. on the sidewalk in the 900 block of West 78th Street when another male walked up and fired shots, striking him in the right arm, according to Chicago Police.

The man was taken to St. Bernard Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
