Man, 31, shot in Fernwood

A man was shot Saturday evening in the Far South Side Fernwood neighborhood.

The 31-year-old was standing on the sidewalk at 9:30 p.m. when he heard shots in the 10400 block of South Perry and realized he had been shot, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the right foot and taken to Roseland Hospital, police said. His condition was stabilized.
