A 25-year-old man was shot Friday evening in the West Garfield Park neighborhood.

He was shot in the buttocks about 5:45 p.m. near Madison and Kilbourn, according to Chicago Police.

The man took himself to Loretto Hospital, where he was in good condition, police said.
