Man wounded in Gresham shooting

A 36-year-old man was wounded in a shooting Friday night in the South Side Gresham neighborhood.

About 10:30 p.m., the man was standing on a sidewalk in the 8000 block of South Marshfield Avenue when someone fired shots, Chicago police said.

He suffered a gunshot wound to his knee and was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, according to police. He condition had stabilized.
