A teenage boy was wounded in a shooting Sunday afternoon in the West Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The 16-year-old was shot in the leg at 1:28 p.m. in the 4200 block of West Jackson, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said. Further details were not immediately available.
