A 17-year-old boy was shot Monday evening in the Northwest Side Portage Park neighborhood.

He was shot in the leg at 9:21 p.m. in the 5700 block of West Irving Park Road, according to Chicago Police.

Paramedics treated him at the scene, police said. He was in good condition.
