A 21-year-old man was killed in a crash last week in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

About 10:25 a.m. Wednesday, Carlos D. Ocana-Castillo was riding a bike in the 1800 block of 59th Street when a vehicle changed lanes, struck him from behind and then drove off, Chicago Police said.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he died Thursday at 6:40 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.

The Major Accidents Unit was investigating the crash, police said.
