Man shot in leg in Humboldt Park drive-by

A man was shot in the leg in a drive-by shooting early Sunday in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The 36-year-old man was in his vehicle at a red light about when a black vehicle pulled up beside him and someone inside fired shots about 1:15 a.m. in the 2500 block of West Chicago, Chicago Police said.

The man was shot once in the leg and was taken to Norwegian Hospital in good condition, police said.

No one was in custody as Area Central detectives investigate.
