Man, 81, shot in West Pullman

An 81-year-old man was shot Thursday afternoon in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The man was sitting outside the front of his home about 2 p.m. in the 12400 block of South Union when he was shot on the side of his abdomen, Chicago Police said.

He was taken to a Metro South Hospital in good condition, police said.
