Man found dead on Northwest Side

A 26-year-old man was found dead early Sunday in the Hollywood Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

About 1:05 a.m., officers responded to a call of a person down in the 3300 block of West Hollywood Avenue, where they found the man on a sidewalk, Chicago Police said. He was pronounced at the scene.

Police initially reported that he was found with multiple gunshot wounds, but later said he had not been shot.

The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed the death. Autopsy results were pending Sunday.
