54-year-old woman stabbed in face in Austin

A woman was stabbed in the cheek Thursday evening in the West Side Austin neighborhood.

The 54-year-old was stabbed with a knife shortly after 8 p.m. in the 300 block of North Central, Chicago Police said.

Her condition was stabilized at Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
