Moon Alert

We have the “all clear” today to shop and do business. The Moon is in Pisces.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

Be careful because today is full of potential confusion. You might spend a lot of time daydreaming. You might misinterpret what others say or you might be misunderstood by them. This can happen in many ways. Wishful thinking will govern your choices. Be aware of this: Wishing doesn’t always make it so.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

This is a poor day to make major financial decisions because you might not have all the facts. The facts you have might be incorrect. Someone might have misinformed you or even deceived you. Many possibilities exist. Caution against overspending on luxury.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Today the Sun and your ruler Mercury are in your sign, and they are both at odds with fuzzy Neptune. This means some of you might be deceptive or choose to hide something in order to avoid a confrontation. (Seems to be the easy way out.) Or maybe you’ll just leave out a few details.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

Avoid controversial subjects like politics, religion and race today because people are confused and things are easily misinterpreted. This means misunderstandings can take place over nothing because your conversation with someone is like two ships passing in the night. (Whaaat?)

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

This is a poor day for important discussions about inheritances, shared property or how to fairly divide something. People are not particularly forthcoming. In fact, someone might even deceive you. Under the best conditions, it’s hard to get the full picture. Postpone important decisions.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Be as clear as possible in important discussions with bosses, parents and VIPs today. Even then, misunderstandings or assumptions could lead you in the wrong direction or leave you with the wrong impression. That’s because confusion is rampant today. Assume nothing.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

You might feel tired at work today. Or you might feel tired while traveling or dealing with matters related to publishing, the law, medicine or the media or something to do with higher education. Study will be challenging because it’s hard to focus. Just for today. (Whew!)

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

This is not a good day for important discussions with romantic partners, especially about how to share expenses or deal with the division of labor. (How come I always take out the garbage?) Likewise, discussions about the care of children will be subject to confusion. Postpone these for another day.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Even though you will likely have an important family discussion today or talk with a partner or close friend, be aware that these conversations can lead to misunderstandings and confusion. You might also be disappointed in someone because you expected more. Remember: Unexpressed expectations almost always lead to disappointment.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Double check all information at work today because something might be incorrect. People might be confused about what is wanted from them — including you. If you think something fishy is going on, it probably is. (It’s a sneaky day.)

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

If you are in a social situation today, be clear about who is paying the bill or who is sharing and such because confusion might easily arise. Likewise, social plans, sports, romantic relationships and dealing with children are also subject to misinterpretation or wishful thinking.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

Today the Moon is in your sign lined up with Neptune, creating confusion with the Sun and Mercury. This is a classic case for misunderstanding or perhaps idealizing a person or situation. Daydreaming might fill your day. People are secretive. You get the picture. Or do you?

If Your Birthday Is Today

This year is about personal responsibilities, family and service to others. Take care of yourself so you can help others. Explore the arts. Enroll in a class. Nurture relationships you value. Personalize your home with memories of these relationships
