The weather cooperated, mostly, and day one of Chicago’s annual Pitchfork Music Festival kicked off Friday in Union Park.

The day’s performances included Tame Impala, Courtney Barnett, Big Thief, Saba and Tierra Whack, who was added to the schedule after Earl Sweatshirt canceled.

The multi-genre festival, celebrating its 13th year, runs through Sunday in the West Loop.
