Man wounded in Aurora shooting

The 29-year-old was shot in the 400 block of South Lasalle Street, Aurora police said.

A man was wounded in a shooting Thursday in west suburban Aurora.

Just after 7:30 p.m., authorities received multiple calls of a person shot in the 400 block of South Lasalle Street, Aurora police said. There, officers found a 29-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds.

He was transported to an area hospital, and later airlifted to a hospital in Chicago for additional treatment, where he is listed in critical but stable condition, police said.
