A person was taken into custody after a SWAT standoff Tuesday in Logan Square on the Northwest Side.

Officers were called for a possible domestic disturbance about 4:54 p.m. in the 3500 block of West Cortland Street, Chicago police said. Upon arrival, police learned a male barricaded himself inside a residence and may have been armed.

A SWAT team responded, and he was taken into custody about 8:48 p.m., police said.
