The Chicago Wolves will open their 2019-20 schedule with a home game at Allstate Arena on Oct. 5. The team announced the home opener Monday along with three other dates when it’ll host opposing teams next season.

The Wolves will host 38 games at home as part of the next American Hockey League season. They’ll kick things off Saturday, Oct. 5 at 7 p.m. CT with an unspecified matchup. Following the turn of the calendar to 2020, the team will also host games on Jan. 18, Feb. 1 and March 7. (All of them at 7 p.m.)

Armed with top prospects from the Vegas Golden Knights, their NHL affiliate, the Wolves will look to win their fourth consecutive division title, which no team in AHL history has ever done before.

The team reached the Calder Cup Finals this spring for the seventh time in franchise history, but lost to the Charlotte Checkers in five games.
