Residential burglaries reported in Gage Park: police

Police believe that two unknown men are involved in the burglaries.

Six homes were burglarized in December 2019 in Back of the Yards.

The two burglaries happened July 17 and 19, police said.

Chicago police are warning Gage Park residents of two reported residential burglaries in July.

In each incident, two unknown men break into residences or garages and take property from within, according to a community alert from Chicago police.

The first incident happened July 17 in the 5300 block of South Artesian Avenue and the second in the 5200 block of South Sacramento Avenue, police said. Both happened between 10 a.m. and noon.
