Man, 29, dies in Franklin Park crash

A 29-year-old man died Saturday in a vehicle crash in northwest suburban Franklin Park.

Julio Carrillo-Lopez was in the 10900 block of Franklin Avenue about 7 a.m. when his vehicle crashed into another, the Cook County medical examiner’s office said. He was pronounced dead about 30 minutes later.

An autopsy conducted Sunday said Carrillo-Lopez died of multiple blunt force injuries from one motor vehicle striking another. The medical examiner’s office ruled his death an accident.

Franklin Park police did not immediately provide details about the crash.
