A 22-year-old man has died from complications about a month after he was injured in a crash in northwest suburban Des Plaines.

Dylan Arends was in a motorcycle crash about 11:28 p.m. June 3 in the 1000 block of East Northwest Highway, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. He was pronounced dead July 11 at Lutheran General Hospital.

Autopsy results found he died from complications of blunt force injuries and ruled his death an accident, the medical examiner’s office said.

Des Plaines police didn’t immediately respond to a request for details about the crash.
