Teen among 2 shot in West Garfield Park

A 17-year-old boy and a man, 26, were in the 3900 block of West Gladys Avenue when someone opened fire, police said.

Two people were wounded in a shooting Monday in West Garfield Park.

About 6:52 p.m., a 17-year-old boy and a man, 26, were in the 3900 block of West Gladys Avenue when someone opened fire, Chicago police said.

The teen was struck in the buttocks and taken to Stroger Hospital, while the man was shot in the foot and taken to St. Anthony Hospital, police said. Both were listed in good condition.

Area Four detectives are investigating.
