Boy, 15, shot in Roseland

Just after midnight Thursday, he was walking in an alley in the 200 block of West 111th Street, when someone dressed in all black fired shots at him from the other end of the alley.

Three people were hurt in a shooting July 1, 2022, in Chinatown.

A 15-year-old boy was shot Thursday in Roseland on the Far South Side.

Just after midnight, he was walking in an alley in the 200 block of West 111th Street, when someone dressed in all black fired shots at him from the other end of the alley, Chicago police said.

He was struck in the upper buttocks area and taken to Little Company of Mary Hospital in Evergreen Park by a family member, police said. He is in good condition.

Area Two detectives are investigating the shooting.
