Firefighters battled a blaze early Sunday morning at a building in Lawndale on the West Side.

The fire broke out after 1 a.m. in the 3500 block of West 13th Place, according to Chicago fire officials.

All occupants of the building were able to escape and no injuries were reported, fire officials said.
