A 64-year-old woman was wounded in a shooting Wednesday night in Auburn Gresham on the South Side.

Just after 5 p.m., the woman was outside in the 1900 block of West 79th Street when she was shot in the right shoulder, Chicago police said.

She was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where his condition was stabilized, police.

No one was in custody.
