A man died Wednesday after he was hit by a car.

A 27-year-old man was struck and killed Wednesday by a driver in Romeoville in the southwest suburbs.

Tyler R. Malinowski was hit by a vehicle about 10 p.m. on Weber Road, about 600 feet north of Lakewood Falls Drive, according to the Will County coroner’s office and Romeoville police.

He was pronounced dead Wednesday night at Adventist Medical Center in Bolingbrook, the coroner’s office said.

Police said he was hit by a Chevrolet in the southbound lanes of traffic.

An autopsy will be performed to determine a cause of death.
