A 40-year-old woman died last week after she was struck by a vehicle in suburban Leyden Township.

The incident happened about 5 a.m. March 19 near the intersection of Mannheim Road and Nevada Avenue, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Tiffany Borre was pronounced dead at 10:38 p.m., the medical examiner’s office said. An autopsy released Tuesday determined she died of injuries sustained after being struck by a vehicle.

Her death was ruled an accident, the medical examiner’s office said.

The Cook County sheriff’s office did not immediately respond to a request for details on the crash.
