A man was seriously injured in a single-vehicle crash Monday on Interstate 94 near suburban South Holland.
About 2:50 a.m., a 40-year-old man driving a 1987 green Oldsmobile Cutlass lost control of the car and crashed into a concrete median on the ramp to Interstate 80, Illinois State Police said.
The car overturned and traveled across all lanes before coming to a stop, state police said.
A 45-year-old man who was riding in the car was ejected and taken to a hospital with injuries that were considered life-threatening, state police said.
The ramp to I-80 was closed for four hours after the crash and reopened by 7 a.m., state police said.
