Motorcyclist dies in Summit crash

A Burbank man died after he was hit by a vehicle while riding a motorcycle Sunday in suburban Summit.

Kevin Trentz, 32, was struck about 3:10 a.m. at the intersection of Harlem and Archer avenues, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

He was pronounced dead at 4:56 a.m. at Loyola University Medical Center, the medical examiner’s office said.

An autopsy found he died of multiple injuries from the crash and ruled his death an accident, the medical examiner’s office said.

Summit police didn’t immediately respond to a request for details.
