A 27-year-old man has died following a shooting Sunday in Homan Square on the West Side.

Just before 7:30 p.m., Ahmad Norris was parked in the 3700 block of West Lexington Street when someone shot him in the head, according to Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

He was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital and died about 10:20 p.m. Monday, the medical examiner's office said.

An autopsy released Wednesday ruled his death a homicide.

No one is in custody, according to police.
