Man killed in I-94 crash

The crash happened Thursday near Cicero Avenue, state police said.

All lanes of northbound I-90 were shot down June 3, 2022 for a shooting investigation near West Addison Street.

A man was killed in a crash July 1, 2021, on Interstate 94.

A 49-year-old man was killed in a crash Thursday on Interstate 94 on the Northwest Side.

A gold-colored Nissan Maxima and a red Chrysler caravan were northbound on the expressway near Foster Avenue about 4:57 p.m. when the Nissan struck the side of the Chrysler, Illinois State Police said.

The Nissan continued traveling after the crash and got onto the right shoulder of the expressway, state police said. The Nissan struck the back of a semi which was parked on the shoulder near Cicero Avenue.

The driver of the Nissan died from his injuries, state police said.

Illinois State Police are investigating.
