A man was shot to death in the hallway of his apartment complex in Woodlawn Friday.

A man was fatally shot in the hallway of his apartment Friday in South Shore.

The victim, 32, was shot in the chest just before 10 p.m. in the 1700 block of East 67th Street, Chicago Police said.

He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center where he later died, police said.

He was identified as Jimmie Allen Jordan by the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

No one was in custody.

Two days earlier, a woman was shot and killed in an apartment about two miles south in South Shore.

The woman, 42, was shot in the chest just before 6:35 p.m. in the 7800 block of South Constance Avenue, police said.
