A woman was killed after she was hit by a pickup truck while crossing a street in Albany Park on the Northwest Side Monday evening.

Ofelia B. Borja, 59, was struck by a 2018 Ford truck in the 4900 block of North Elston Avenue around 6:30 p.m., Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

The woman was taken to St. Joseph Hospital, where she was pronounced dead, police said. She has not yet been identified.

No charges were filed.
