The Blackhawks will play the Minnesota Wild at TCF Bank Stadium on Sunday, Feb. 21. TCF Bank Stadium is on the campus of the University of Minnesota, and is home to the Gophers football team and the temporary home of the Minnesota Vikings while their new stadium is under construction.
On Stubhub, the cheapest tickets for the outdoor game are going for more than $179. The game will mark the fourth time the Blackhawks have played outdoors.
Chicago played the Detroit Red Wings at Wrigley Field in the 2009 Winter Classic before also taking on Pittsburgh and Washington in outdoor games during the past two seasons.
The Wild and Blackhawks have met in the Stanley Cup playoffs for three consecutive seasons.
