NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. — Boeing has appointed an executive from its Washington state operations to head the company’s South Carolina plant.
Beverly Wyse will become the new vice president and general manager of the company’s South Carolina operations, The Post and Courier of Charleston reports. She is replacing Jack Jones,who is retiring.
Wyse has led Boeing’s 737 aircraft program in Washington state for the past four years.
Jones is remaining at the company’s North Charleston plant until May to help with the transition.
Boeing assembles its 787-8 and 787-9 in North Charleston. It also will be the sole production facility for the new 787-10.
