Video: Second City wants your help to fund Obama's World War 3

$1.6 trillion. That’s all the Second City Network wants in this over-the-top call to kickstart Barack Obama’s World War 3. The goal of this Kickstarter is “a very important, very progressive war that President Obama tells me is very important,” to quote one ‘supporter.’

The Kickstarter will deliver “thousands of organic grass-fed bombs, hybrid Prius tanks, rockets controlled by iPads, and drones that play The Lumineers while they attack,” while promising, “lots of shock… but lot’s of ‘aww’.”

It’s an incredibly scathing, vaguely leftist mockery of the current political climate, coming just as the public is struggling over the idea of intervening in Syria.

We could all use a laugh right about now. Good timing, Second City.
