◆ Translation: $$$$$$Although Mayor Rahm Emanuel has yet to file his latest campaign cash haul with the state Election Board, Sneed hears he raised $1.12 million in the third quarter of this year.

◆ Further translation: Ald. Bob Fioretti(2nd), Rahm’s only serious declared mayoral opponent — and Chicago Teachers Union President Karen Lewis, Rahm’s unofficial challenger, appear to lag way behind, based on their most recent fund-raising filings. Neither returned Sneed’s calls for their latest fund-raising update.
