A man was wounded in a shooting early Thursday in Logan Square on the Northwest Side.

The 24-year-old was in his vehicle in an alley when he heard shots and realized he was struck in the cheek, Chicago police said.

The shooting happened about 4:10 a.m. in the 3600 block of West Fullerton Avenue, police said.

He drove himself two blocks to the 3400 block of West Fullerton, where officers found him, according to police. The man was taken to the Illinois Masonic Medical Center and his condition was stabilized.

A police spokesperson Thursday morning could not offer a suspect description or additional details on the shooting. No arrests have been made.
