A Hazel Crest man has been charged with a series of vehicle burglaries in southwest suburban Oak Lawn.
Patrick McGee, 20, was charged with three felony counts of burglary to a motor vehicle, Oak Lawn police said.
Officers responded to the 4800 block of 105th Place on Sept. 23 after receiving a call about a person pulling on door handles of parked vehicles, police said. They spotted McGee nearby and allegedly found several items on his person and in his backpack that were taken from vehicles in the area.
McGee was held on $50,000 bond, police said. He is due back in court Oct. 8.
