The 22-year-old was hit in the left side of her jaw, twice in her left shoulder and once in the back of her neck, police said.

A woman was shot multiple times Wednesday in the 1400 block of East 75th Street in Grand Crossing.

A woman was shot multiple times Wednesday in Grand Crossing on the South Side.

The 22-year-old had just left a nearby gas station shortly after noon when she heard gunshots while walking in the 1400 block of East 75th Street, according to Chicago police.

The woman was hit in the left side of her jaw, twice in her left shoulder and once in the back of her neck, police said. She was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center in critical condition, but has since been stabilized.

Area Central detectives are investigating.
