Two people were wounded in a shooting Sunday in Humboldt Park on the West Side.

They were in separate vehicles about 9:26 p.m. in the 1500 block of North Spaulding Avenue when someone opened fire, Chicago police said.

A 43-year-old man was struck in the hand and leg, police said. He drove himself to Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center where his condition was stabilized.

The 15-year-old boy was hit in the knee and drove himself to the Norwegian American Hospital where his condition was stabilized, police said.

Police said the pair have been uncooperative with the investigation.

Area North detectives are investigating.
